Bailey Farm Studio Apartments

B&B on a farm dating back to the 15th century

Baileys Farm is a lively smallholding in the idyllic British countryside outside Hitchin, Hertfordshire. We offer three apartments, all recently converted from the farm’s original, historic outbuildings. Each apartment has a lovely view over the duck pond and fields from its own private patio.

The farm has plenty of creatures for you to meet: from a talkative turkey called Nelson, to emus, peacocks and horses.

Guests enjoy ensuite rooms, front door to apartments. All on ground floor with private veranda overlooking the pond and paddocks.

An abundance of wildlife can be seen on the farm together with the resident animals – horses, emus alpacas, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens, peacocks, owles and not forgetting the dog and cats that live in the farmhouse.

A warm welcome awaits you. Rooms are access by touch coded keypad that opens your solid oak front door to a delightful apartment.

We have 3 studio apartments available. All of our rooms are fully equipped lounge with sofa bed, 42 inch TV, oak table and chairs. Together with a microwave, kettle, hair dryer, fridge, toaster, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Your room will be stocked with fresh yoghurt, bread, butter, milk, jams, juices and a selection of breakfast cereals with hot croissants delivered in the morning

About Baileys Farm

Baileys Farm was built around 450 years ago and ran as a working farm for centuries. Now a smallholding, it is still home to an impressive array of friendly creatures.

We can take you on a guided tour through the property and land if you’d like to explore and meet all things furred and feathered, but please don’t venture through any closed gates on your own.

Ideal for touring the small villages of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. London being little over 20 miles away, easily accessible by the M1. Luton airport is a 5 minute drive down the road and a true plane spotters paradise.
